Queen Chandbibi hunting

Painting depicts Chand Bibi on brown horse with bow in the left and an arrow in her right hand. A male and a female deer are seen in front each with two arrows stuck on them.Sultana Chand Bibi acted as the Regent of Bijapur during the minority of Ibrahim Adil Shah II in 1580-1590, and regent of Ahmednagar during the minority of her great nephew Bahadur Shah in 1595-1600.
