Two small flacons compete about the honour of having been Queen Gunilla’s. Gunilla Bielke was married to King John III of Sweden between 1585 and 1592. She is described as a strong and influential Queen by her contemporaries as well as by later historians. That is probably the reason why it has been desirable to own an object related to her. The difficulty in this case is the fact that the flacons were manufactured well after Queen Gunilla's time. From the Hallmark we can tell that it was made by Augustin Bourdillon in 1764.
