Queen Hedvig Eleonora played a significant part in Swedish government as Dowager Queen during King Karl XI’s childhood and throughout his life. The seal is revolvable and three-sided, with similar monograms but with different additional elements. The monogram HERS, which may sound a bit funny to an international public, stands for Hedvig Eleonora Regina Svecia. It is an informal seal, as a contrast to her more official seal.
