Portrait of Queen Maria (1819-853), daughter of King Pedro IV, married to Prince Augusto to Leuchtenberg and a second time to Prince Fernando of Saxe Coburg Gota. She was mother of King Pedro V and King Luís I. She was seven-years old when her father abdicated in her favour, 15 when she was proclaimed Queen of Portugal.
