This Boldini's pencil drawing portrays a young woman caught reading a magazine or newspaper, considering the large format of the page. The reader is characterized by a short and soft haircut that highlights the sinuous neck and the shoulder, emerging from the boat neckline of the dress, and a portion of the face on which the marked eyebrows stand out.
