Red Carpet II

Red Carpet II masquerades as a Persian carpet. For those bound to dismiss it as obvious imagery for a Pakistani artist, Rashid has the last laugh on them. The individual pictures are photos of slaughtered animals and the red of the carpet upon closer inspection is blood. Rashid uses subversion to deconstruct cultural stereotypes and preconceived notions.
