The replica of the statue of David by Michelangelo, sculpted in the Lyceum and Arts and Crafts of São Paulo, was removed from Pacaembu after the transformation of the Concha Acústica into a new bleacher in the 1970s. Since 1974, it has been located in the Centro Esportivo, Recreativo and Educativo do Trabalho (CERET), on the east side of the city.
