This excerpt from the "Bericht über das vierte Studienjahr" (Report of the 4th Academic Year) of the Hamburg Colonial Institute provides an insight into the lecture program of the Institute for the winter semester 1911/12. In addition, attendances of individual lectures are noted. Georg Thilenius' lecture "General Ethnology" was visited by a total of 36 trainees and guest students.
