Reque-reque

Portuguese traditional musical instrument, made from a pine wood board, cut and painted, featuring a man with a full body, arms and head as articulated elements.

Used on festive occasions, mainly when groups of young men from rural communities first went to the city to be subjected to the inspection for military service.
