Zhu Naizheng (1935-2013) was born in Zhejiang Province. He graduated from the Central Academy of Fine Arts in 1958 under the guidance of Mr. Wu Zuoren, Mr. Ai Zhongxin and Mr. Wang Zhikuo. From the spring of 1959, he worked on the Qinghai plateau for 21 years. In the autumn of 1980, he was transferred back to the Central Academy of Fine Arts to teach. He was vice chairman of Qinghai Art Association, vice president of Central Academy of Fine Arts, director of China Artists Association, vice chairman of China Oil Painting Association, member of the National Political Consultative Conference and director of the high-level judgement committee of artists of the Ministry of Culture. His main works are "Golden Season", "Spring and Autumn Flowers", "Desert", "Soul of the Nation-Ode to Quyuan", "Winter Solstice, Spring is far away? 》 "Qinghai Changyun", "Spring Rain", "Sunny Snow" and so on. Besides, he is good at both calligraphy and ink painting. His publications include Selected Works of Zhu Naizheng, Hundred Pictures of Zhu Naizheng's Ink and Water, Selected Landscapes of Zhu Naizheng's Small Oil Paintings, 60 Small Paintings and Calligraphy of Zhu Naizheng, Art Records of Zhu Naizheng's Genuine Works, and Collection of Zhu Naizheng's Sketches.
