Yoo Heesong used marble pattern technique to mix two or more kinds of soil together. The natural and warm colors of the soil were used to make a vase (and an artistic object at the same time). Three of the taller pieces matched together were created by Yoon Jeong. Stone clay was molded using a spinning wheel, and the surface was scratched with a knife before inlaying white clay on the surface. The pieces then went through a bisque firing. Glaze was later applied to the inside of the objects, which went through a reduction firing at 1,289 degrees.
