As a distinctive sign forced labor servicemen had to wear a ribbon of national colors (red-white-green). After the country entered the war, their condition deteriorated, which was reflected also in the order by the Ministry of Defense of 19 August 1941. By this regulation, the Jewish forced labor servicemen, instead of the ribbon with the national color had to wear yellow ones, and those baptized were distinguished by white ones.
