Chromolithograph from The Richmond Dispatch printed for the 1896 United Confederate Veterans reunion in Richmond. At the center is architect Percy Griffin's design for the Jefferson Davis monument in Monroe Park; a highlight of the reunion was the ceremonial laying of the cornerstone for this monument - which was never built.
