Part two of a letter from Hannay & Hannay Solicitors, dated 23 September 1915 to the Town Clerk's Office in South Shields. The letter is in reference to claims filed by their client John .R. Cook (Kuch), a Pork Butcher born in South Shields to German parents, who was seeking compensation for damages to his Ocean Road shop, which was looted by rioters.
