Bronze jug for ritual use with a pear-shaped body, flared rim and a highly stylised neck. The handle is welded to the jug vertically and decorated in the form of a left leg and foot wearing a sandal. The iconography on the handle is common on this type of jug and examples have been found all over the Empire.Found in 1864, together with other bronze objects in the area of the Forum of the “Colonia” Tarraco in the sediment filling the Cartanyà well.
