This is a leather rope 16 ft long made by men from cowhide. This rope is used by men for putting up beehives. It is sometimes used by women to tie firewood, big bags of maize and millets. Commonly found among the marakwet, pokot and other Kalenjin people. Also used for strangling goats and sheep.
