Rorqual whale articulated skeleton

Common rorqual skeleton (Balaenoptera physalus) the second biggest animal after the blue whale. It's a female whale which stranded on a beach in Marbella (Málaga) in 2008. It is 21 meters long and the weight of the bones is 2,500 kg; it's estimated that the weight of the animal alive could be more than 40 tonnes. Due to her popularity, Marbella's city council organized a competition among schools to find a name for the whale, and Vega was the chosen.
