Circa 1935 black and white photograph of men in southeastern New Mexico in the region of the Roswell Basin. The artesian well is being used to irrigate an agricultural field. The photograph was supplied to the National Park Service's Morristown Field Laboratory as a reference to aid artists designing a diorama for the U.S. Department of the Interior Museum.
