Royal letters patent by which queen Juana I of Castille sells Luis Zapata land in Las Alpujarras (Granada) left by residents who had gone to Africa

The document is part of the long process of pressure on the Mudéjar (Muslim) population of Las Alpujarras that began practically from the taking of the city of Granada and that caused the progressive flight of its inhabitants until the definitive expulsion of the Moriscos in 1609.
