Rural concert

Between December 1628 and September 1629, Baccio del Bianco painted three frescoes in the bricked up doors of the Room of Night and Day. The task, given him by Michelangelo the Younger, provides the execution of three genre scenes that reflected episodes of rural life. In this painting, two young musicians, leaning against a balustrade, intone a symphony; in the backgroung hunting scenes.
