The castle in Różana was built in the 16th century as the main residence of the Sapieha family, and then significantly expanded at the end of the 18th century into a palace and park complex. The expansion resulted in the magnificent estate earning the title of the "Polesie Versailles," but at the same time, it partially ruined its owner, Andrzej Sapieha, who was forced to lease the residence to a Jewish entrepreneur. From that time until the beginning of the 20th century, a cloth factory operated in the Rose Palace. Currently, the residence remains in partial ruin.
