The back part of the candlestick holder looks like the façade of a building with the symbols of the Jerusalem Temple (pillars flanking the decorative entrance). The two additional candlestick holders made later than the Hanukkah could be also used for Sabbath candles. Similar Hanukkah candlestick holders can be found in the Lviv Ethnographic Museum.
