Dallas Railway & Terminal Co. 434 at Seashore Trolley Museum
#434 was designed for 'safe operation' by one person that had to not only run the car between stops, open the doors to let passengers on and off and even collect fares rom the passengers. One of the 'safety' features is a combined air brake and front door control arranged so that the door could not be opened until the brakes were fully applied. Conversely, the brakes could not be released until the door is closed.
