    "This place known as Saleres, part of the Lecrín Valley in the jurisdiction of the City of Granada—its capital from which it is five leagues—covers half a league from east to west, one and a quarter leagues from north to south, and has a circumference of three leagues. It adjoins the regions of Restabal, Melexis, Conchar, Albuñuelas, Guajar Faraguit, and Pinos, and looks as above."
