Salvaging damaged shadow puppets

In July 2018 the town of Langzhong was affected by severe flooding, and more than 6,000 pieces of shadow puppets were destroyed. In order to salvage the shadow puppets that were under water, Wang Biao bought 20 pieces of laminate that were 2.4 meters long and 1.2 meters wide. He then laid the shadow puppets on the laminate to dry them under sunlight, before pressing them.
