A Samburu warrior is expected to be strong noble and courageous in character, but being Samburu also means that he will spend many hours at a time grooming himself. Samburu means "butterfly", an apt name for these colourful warriors who spend much of their time displaying themselves in their finery and flitting from one place to another.
