Sataniv. Sieniawski Gate and Synagogue - View from the Zbrucz River

Synagogues appear relatively rarely in Orda's watercolours, most often depicted as one of the buildings in the broader cityscape. Nevertheless, these are extremely valuable visual documents, especially since, while the synagogue in Sataniv still exists and was restored in recent years, only a few descriptions and views remain of the wooden synagogue in Pohrebyshche.
