Satchel Paige (Arches of Tradition)

This artwork is part of a larger series of paintings by Cleveland artist Jerome T. White called "Arches of Tradition." This painting depicts Satchel Paige, who was a star player in the Negro Leagues and the first Black pitcher in Major League Baseball. The entire series of paintings is on display at the Baseball Heritage Museum in Cleveland, Ohio.
