Bridle's Satellite Shadow, a work playing off his previous Drone Shadow series, aims to envision the invisible. A life-size, 1:1 representation of an actual satellite (a Russian reconnaissance satellite called Persona), for Bridle the satellite represents the huge network of data that invisibly connects people across the world; its depiction thus acts not only as an image of the endless, borderless qualities of space, but also of the hidden technologies that literally and metaphorically envelop us.
