Scenes of Yoshiwara(licensed pleasure quarter in the capital)

It depicts the town of Shin-Yoshiwara and its lively air. It was probably painted in the first half of the 18th century，originally a hand scroll，but cut off，and made into folding screens.
Yoshiwara was the town where many kinds of love stories came abouｔ and wenｔ one after another，like a revolving stage.
