Scoop chisel

The blade of this chisel is made by a blacksmith and the shaft by an old craftsman. The shaft is cut from the wood of the mukugudi tree using a panga. The chisel is used by craftsmen for scooping out the insides of food bowls, wooden ladles, e.t.c.
