Etruscan antefix. The face of the female figure is oblong and tapering towards the pronounced chin; the hair is curly, parted in the middle and drawn behind the ears; by the ear-lobes she wears a five-petalled flower on each side; below the chin one can see the traces of a bead necklace; the eyes are remarkably large, the eyebrows elegantly curved; the mouth is small but with rich lips and a marked Cupid’s bow. Colours: the clay is yellowish-red; creamy-buff for the skin and the tile fragment; black for hair, eyes, eyebrows, contours of the petals and the central round in the flowers, every other bead in the necklace and a transverse band on the tile; red for mouth, lachrymal glands, central round of the flowers, inner lining of the ears and every other bead in the necklace; light brown for the petals of the flowers.
