Depicted in the centre of the seal is Archangel Michael clad in armor, his burning sword risen up. There are initials “S — M” (Sanctus Michael — Saint Michael) carved on either side. The date “17—79” below was carved in the same manner. Such building tools as calipers, masonry hammer, level and square are the depicted at the Archangels’ feet underneath. The middle part of the seal is encircled with a ring, drawn with a “braid” pattern.

The item was brought to Lviv Historical Museum in 1940 from the former Lviv City Historical Museum, where it was sent from the City Archive.
