Senna

One of the medicinal desert plants, Senna is widespread in arid areas. It has many names in Arab countries, such as al-senna or al-sannamikky. A perennial plant under the bush that gives flowers most of the year, it is traditionally used by desert inhabitants as a treatment for constipation.
