Sergei Babayan and Margarita Shevchenko

The Chopin Foundation was honored to welcome Armenian-American pianist Sergei Babayan to the jury in 2015. For this special prelude to the Competition concert, he was joined on stage by the Russian-American artist, Margarita Shevchenko who was a laureate of the 1990 International Chopin Competition. Together they collaborated on Rachmaninoff's Barcarolle from Suite No. 1 for two pianos, Op. 5 Suite No. 2 for two pianos, Op. 17
