Most commonly revered as Adisesha (the foremost) and Anantasesha (the endless), Vishnu or Seshanarayana is worshipped based on the stance or pose, Seated on the five-headed or seven-headed serpent he is Adi, reclining he is Ananta. Seen with his consorts Sridevi and Bhudevi, Seshnarayana is the Supreme Being in Vaishnavism.
