Wooden shield covered with woven rattan, oval-shaped with pointed ends, folded into a wedge and provided with a conical wooden umbo. Contour covered in parchment. This type of shield weas used among the Baganda, Waganda an Soga peoples of Uganda in the Northwest of Lake Victoria. Its peculiarity consists in the triangular decoration at the edges, which is not found in other populations.
