Shōzō Shimamoto, Time Rack, Palazzo Sant’Elia, Palermo, 2018

In 2018 Fondazione Morra, with the Shozo Shimamoto Association and with the cooperation of Fondazione Sant’Elia, inaugurates a wide-ranging retrospective dedicated to the Japanese artist, curated by Achille Bonito Oliva. An in-depth study of Shimamoto’s artistic career from his works on paper from the 1950s, brought to the Italian public for the very first time, from first innovative experiments in the 40s and 50s up to the performances of his last years.
