Silent circle dance is a kind of dance characteristic for the wider Dalmatian hinterland. It is performed without a musical accompaniment. The music's role takes on the synchronized strong kicks of the feet on the floor that thereby create a rhythm. In 2011 UNESCO included it in the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
