An illustration of Mrs. Syrie Maugham's '"Market of the Americas" shop, the proceeds of which are divided between Bundles for Britain and Bundles for Bluejackets. A seller (center) is showing off pottery and candles in the "Mexican bazaar," to two buyers. The buyer on the left is wearing a citrus-green suit of Rodier wool consisting of a fitted jacket and pleated skirt. The buyer on the right is wearing a chamois-yellow suit with a black blouse and a separate two-tiered cape; all of Rodier wool. Both ensembles from Altman. Signed "Eric" by artist.
