The SNIA work is part of my research that investigates the relationships between the forms of contemporary
architecture and the urban graffiti language.
Fascinated by the study of the letters evolution, I began to weave the lettering to a three-dimensional style that
has been enriched by the forms of architecture, to the point of creating a new stylistic language, in which
letters and architectural design become a single entity.
Designing the letters using the same rules of architecture allow me to generate forms that are
at the same time calligraphy and ideal architectural projects: polygonal solids or fluid prisms are combined with
architectural elements composing letters and generating spaces. To crown the design, small silhouettes that
humanize the space and emphasize the liveability of the "archiletters".
The point of arrival of the research is to understand how these two disciplines, architecture and graffiti, can meet
in the cities of the future. One possible way is to integrate street art into the architectural design process making
artist and architect the subjects who collaborate synergistically in the realization of the same work. This new opera
becomes part of the urban landscape, so that it can be lived and no longer just admired.
