Snow

Snow(雪) was Wang Guangyi’s graduation work in Zhejiang Academy of Fine Arts. It mixed classicism with features of modernism art. The people of Oroqen in the snow were depicted with extremely rich tensile force in both color and composition. And the whole painting is full of vigor and vitality. As the painter himself said, “my graduation creation, Snow, is my favorite wrok. Because it represents my youth.”
