A growing gourd plant is taken from the garden. It is taken home to dry and after, it is dried and the reeds in it removed out and the inside is washed away with warm water. The chain tied to it is made by a chain smith who also made the snuff box. Used for holding the snuff box and the snuff box itself is used for carrying cigar smoked by old men.
