The Somali (Soomaaliyeed) are Cushitic speakers who are predominantly Sunni Muslims. They speak Afro-Asiatic language and are closely related to the Borana community. Most Somalis are found in Garissa, Wajir, Mandera, Isiolo and Marsabit counties in the Northern most parts of Kenya.
