Cup Franz Joseph I. Made of crystal glass in Moser glassworks, date 16. AUG. 1904. Cup was made on the occasion of the meeting between two monarchs - Austrian Emperor Franz Joseph I. and the English King Edward VII. in Mariánské Lázně on 16. August 1904. Mariánské Lázně hosted hundreds of monarchs, Europeans politicians and diplomats and boasted these visits, which deepened fame as a center of international political and social centers. But meeting of monarchs was one of the most important events of the city's history.
