A Spanish “Tigre” rifle, .44 caliber model from 1925, made by the company Gárate Anitúa y Cia. A Royal Circular Order on March 5, 1926 authorized its use solely for the forces charged with providing security for rail services. It was also quite widely used by other law enforcement forces, such as armed security guards.
