It is made from ruined piece of a machete. It is heated, beaten on an anvil and sharpened. The leaf shaped spear is fixed into shaft. The shaft is cut from the wood of the munae tree. It is used to kill animals who come to destroy his maize at the garden. It is also used by men for defense and war against enemies.
