Los Millares Society

The necropolis of Los Millares is comprised of a hundred collective burials of the lineages from Los Millares. They seem to be grouped in a way that reflects their kinship, social and symbolic relationships.

Up to 4 different social classes have been distinguished, according to the level of prestige of the goods found in the tombs, such as metal artefacts, objects made in exotic raw materials (ivory or ostrich egg shell), flint knives and arrowheads, symbolic and Bell Beaker pottery, stone glasses and plenty of idols.
