This highly ornate spice box is in the form of an Indian elephant with a tower shaped spice container on its back. The flag on top has an image of a seven branched candelabrum. Around the elephant's neck hangs a gold toned bell. Elements of Rococo design, curves, shells and floral forms, are featured throughout.
