In the introduction, Sport Lisboa e Benfica justifies the publication of this first Bulletin, feeling the need to establish more intimate contact with its associative masses, like other clubs and various Federations, noting that, in central countries and especially in Czechoslovakia and in Germany, there is a rare football club that does not have its bulletin, a historical archive of its entire associational life. At the time, Benfica had an effective population of more than three thousand members.
